FAQs

How does Generic Voltaren Gel (Diclofenac) work?

Generic Voltaren (Diclofenac) belongs to the class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Like other NSAIDs, it works by blocking a specific enzyme called cyclooxygenase. Cyclooxygenase is involved in the production of a certain class of chemicals that cause pain and inflammation in response to certain diseases or injuries. By blocking cyclooxygenase, the inflammation it causes is also reduced.
