Generic Viramune

Generic Viramune (Nevirapine) is an antiviral medication, which helps decrease the amount of HIV cells in your system to enable your immune system to work better. It also helps lower the risk of complications associated with HIV-infection. This medication belongs to a specific class of medicines called Non-Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors (NNRTIs). These medicines impact directly on the DNA production of the HIV virus, slowing down its progress. However, Generic Viramune (Nevirapine) is not a cure for HIV and cannot help cells that have already been infected with the virus.

Due to the nature of this medication, we strongly recommend delivery by courier service, which can be tracked online and only takes 4-7 business days.

FAQs

How does Generic Viramune (Nevirapine) work?

Generic Viramune (Nevirapine) is an antiviral medication, which belong to the class of Non-Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors (NNRTIs). Reverse transcriptase forms part of the reproduction process of the HIV-virus and is responsible for infecting cells and spreading the virus. Generic Viramune (Nevirapine) prevents reverse transcriptase from working properly and infecting healthy cells. This slows down the progress of the virus. The difference with Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors (NRTIs) is that NNRTI’s do not come into contact with the DNA of HIV, they act on the site of the reverse transcriptase itself.
